Since 2022, The Encounter is Blue Ash’s premium meeting and retreat space designed for teams, facilitators, consultants, and group leaders who want their time together to feel focused, easy, and worthwhile.

Every detail has been considered, from flexible room layouts and built-in technology to whiteboard walls, breakout spaces, hospitality touches, and on-site support.

The space is warm, polished, private, and fully equipped so you can walk in ready to lead, gather, plan, create, and connect.

About our location

Located in Blue Ash, Ohio, The Encounter offers a private meeting and retreat space just outside downtown Cincinnati and minutes from Summit Park.

Our location makes it easy for teams across Cincinnati, Montgomery, Kenwood, Mason, Sharonville, Indian Hill, Northern Kentucky, and the greater Cincinnati region to gather without the stress of downtown parking or hotel conference chaos.

With free surface parking, nearby restaurants and catering options, and a quiet, accessible setting, The Encounter gives you the ease of a suburban Cincinnati meeting space with the feel of a thoughtfully designed retreat venue.

Our founders

The Encounter was created by M E Clarke Consulting after years of facilitating leadership retreats, strategy sessions, team development experiences, and transformational group work. We knew what was often missing: a space that was beautiful and functional, professional and warm, structured and flexible. So we built one.

Our founders designed The Encounter with the real needs of teams and facilitators in mind: clear sightlines, flexible layouts, reliable technology, room to think, places to break out, and the kind of hospitality that helps people feel cared for without distraction.

This is not a blank room you have to make work. It’s a space designed by people who understand what good group work requires.
